Working Together for a New Start -
Joint Transitional Activities
As we prepare for the opening of Forge Valley in September 2011, we are all aware of the need now to ensure that our students and staff have the opportunity to get to know each other and start working towards a smooth transition into our new school.
To achieve this, there have already been numerous events attended by students from both Myers Grove and Wisewood Schools, as well as their primary school partners. In addition, staff from both secondary schools have held the first joint curriculum day with many more to come. Details of these can be found by following the links below.
Over the coming months, many more activities will be held allowing the students to integrate and start working with each other on some exciting projects. It is the intention of all those involved, that by so doing, these same young people will get to know each other as new friends well before our doors open in 2011.
